Churches swap house of worship

The warehouse component of the building has been fit out as an auditorium.

Monash Methodist Church has leased the Huntingdale building recently vacated by Faith Christian Church.

The deal for 15 Clifford Grove is for an initial five years at a starting annual net rent of $110,000.

Over two storeys, the 779 square metre structure is split evenly as a warehouse – which has been fit out as an auditorium – and offices.

Crabtrees Real Estate’s Gavin Dumas and Pana Kritikos said the tenant was found following a Facebook marketing campaign (story continues below).

“Given the unique offering of a fully fitted church we explored alternative marketing options taking to sponsored ads on social media targeting specific tenant groups,” Mr Kritikos added.

“As such we had four inquires from various church groups within two hours of the Facebook ads going live which resulted in leasing the property”.
