Holman expands in Broadmeadows

Holman Industries has leased part of the Broadmeadows Logistics Estate, under construction on the site of an ex-Woolworths distribution centre.

The garden and plumbing supplies business has signed up for a 10,000 square metre warehouse at 120 Northcorp Boulevard.

It is expansion space – the group operates out of another facility across the road which coincidentally, recently sold to Westbridge Funds Management with a leaseback.

LOGOS, backed by Canada’s Ivanhoé Cambridge, is developing the Broadmeadows Logistics Estate – it paid Growthpoint $50.2m for the 25 hectare site last year.

Upon completion the business park will contain five warehouses with a total of 127,000 sqm (story continues below).

On Tuesday, we reported car parts giant GPC Asia Pacific, which controls the Repco brand, leased one of them, spreading 39,000 sqm.

The Holman asset is due for completion in 2022.
