Graham Underwood Buys Mount Hotham Home For $2 Million

The two-bedroom property is perched on the edge of an alpine reserve, part of the highest approved freehold land currently approved in Australia. The inside living area is dominated by a 20 tonne cantilevered fire place made of local stone.

Mount Hotham boasts the nation’s only alpine airport, making it more accessible than any other ski field from every Australian capital city. It’s ski slopes are regarded as the best in the country.

The sale price eclipses the $1.6 million record set last winter for a nearby house, also at DP Village Hotham, the first stage of the $500 million New Hotham development. The project is a joint venture project between the Australian Stock Exchange-listed MFS Living and Leisure group, and developer the Ray Group.
