CBD Student Accommodation Development Site Fetches $18 Million
RMIT has used the existing 7-level, 6,091 square metre building on the north-east corner of A’Beckett Street as offices and classrooms. The office is known amongst staff and students as Building 87.
Knight Frank director Clinton Baxter sold the development site with Langton McHarg to an undisclosed residential developer.
Mr Baxter said the campaign generated significant off-shore interest, resulting in a record price of $17,800 per square metre of land.
