GPT shoos, shuffles, to connect CSE Crosscom to Port Melbourne’s Citiport

Some more leasing success for The GPT Group – this time at its high-tech Citiport Business Park in Port Melbourne.

By combining two units to create a 1905 square metre office warehouse at 644 Lorimer Street, it met the brief of telecommunications company CSE Crosscom.

Lemon Baxter’s Chris Chartres said the deal required working through two surrender agreements with former occupiers.

Complicating that, he added, the incoming owner had individual requirements for two departments required to work under the same roof.

Citiport Business Park, about four kilometres south west of Melbourne’s CBD, was developed by Salta.

Mr Chartres represented The GPT Group with colleague Ben Hackworthy.

Nine months ago the same agency secured Chef’s Hat for a 2974 sqm office warehouse at 274 Salmon Street, also within Citiport Business Park.

Earlier this month, The GPT Group struck rental agreements with Godfrey Hirst and PetSTOCK for a 26,488 sqm Truganina warehouse, in Melbourne’s west.

Last Friday the landlord secured Gliders Transport and Logistics to a 5700 square metre industrial asset in Stapylton, near the northernmost part of the Gold Coast, also six kilometres from Brisbane’s southern outskirts.
