GPT Group secures Gliders Transport and Logistics at Stapylton

Gliders Transport and Logistics has rented part of a high-bay warehouse facility in the Yatala Enterprise Area – the largest zoned industrial land precinct in the Gold Coast, also just six kilometres from Brisbane’s southern outskirts.

GPT Group is the landlord.

The 5700 square metre deal for T4, 16 Quarry Road, Stapylton, came after the occupier searched for a base in Brisbane’s south.

“Gilders determined the Yatala Enterprise Area was best suited for their operations allowing expansion into both the Brisbane and Gold Coast markets,” Knight Frank associate director, Industrial Logistics, Sam Harper said.

Colleagues Mark Clifford and Matthew Williams with Colliers International’s Daniel Coburn and Matthew Frazer-Ryan are marketing 16 Quarry Road spaces.

YEA is being planned to be the workplace for about 40,000 people.

Four months ago, City of Gold Coast paid $12.8 million for an 85 hectare farm at 396 Stanmore Road, Yatala, about three kilometres south west of Stapylton, with intentions to convert it into public recreation areas.

Yatala is about 40 kilometres or a 35 minute drive, from both Brisbane and Gold Coast.

The warehouse at 16 Quarry Road, Stapylton, is about 38 kilometres south of Brisbane’s CBD and 41 kilometres north of the Gold Coast.
