Government Approves Major Redevelopment of Bondi Beach Site

The New South Wales government has approved an $89 million redevelopment of Bondi Beach’s former Hakoah Club site, on Hall Road.

The redevelopment, proposed by the Toga Group, will include a 113-room serviced apartment hotel, and 44 traditional own-your-own apartments, as well as shops, a gym, pool, spa, cafe, bar and car park.

Toga paid $18 million for the site in 2007. The club vacated last year, according to the AFR which reported the planning development.
