Gold Coast medical centre collects $7.8m
A home converted medical centre with demolition clauses attached to the rental agreements has sold for $7.75 million.
Also a block from the beach, 36 Seabeach Avenue, at the north east corner of the Gold Coast Highway, Mermaid Beach, spreads 610 square meters, zoned Neighbourhood Centre, able to accommodate an eight level, c24 metre, building.
A seven level project is nearby – The Alfred, with 80 dwellings over a lifestyle and dining precinct, carries an end value of c$185m.
Mermaid Plaza is also across the road.
Coastal Commercial’s Jaren Johnson and Taylor Jones brokered the deal.
They said the pocket is set to benefit from the G-Link light rail expansion (continues below).
The precinct, they added, is “widely regarded as the Gold Coast’s most popular suburb”.
The asset presently contains an operating surgeon, consultancy, beauty clinic and office.
Mermaid Waters is about eight kilometres south of Surfers Paradise.
