Michael Buxton’s former Brighton home sells

A Brighton home once owned by property developer Michael Buxton has sold a week before auction.

Four Kinane St is understood to be trading for about $4 million.

It contains a tennis court, pool and four car garage.

The home is near the landmark Kinane, developed by Max Beck, which set a suburban record selling for $11.2m last year.

Mr Buxton offloaded #4 to business identity Peter Kent for c$2.4m in 2003.

Kay & Burton’s David Urquhart ran the most recent campaign.

Earlier this week, an East Melbourne residence offered by The Good Guys boss Andrew Muir also found a buyer before auction; it was expected to sell for about $10m.
