Engineering firm Aerison consolidates West Perth offices

Engineering firm Aerison will consolidate from two West Perth offices to another after signing a 1650 square metre lease deal.

The 52 year old business currently operates at Kings Park Road and Altona Street.

It is headed to a five-storey, A-grade 3700 square metre commercial building at 56 Ord Street completed by Iris Residential in 2007 in collaboration with the Heritage Council of Western Australia (the site included a historic home which was restored).

Colliers International’s Harry Mettam and Dustin May describe Aerison’s next office as one of West Perth’s best workplaces.

The tenant is moving into level three and part of the first floor.

The leasing agents have been seeking rent of $350 per sqm, pa in a campaign also offering building and signage rights.

Following the deal to Aerison, and a smaller commitment to Serendipity, Colliers International has recently filled close to 2000 sqm of office space at 56 Ord Street.

The brokers said about 526 sqm of area set to become vacant will be reoffered for lease after a fit-out.

Pre-committed before construction, the office contains basement car park, “brilliant” end-of-trip facilities, T5 lighting, zoned air conditioning and a ground floor indoor/outdoor tenancy leased to a cafe.

About 130 metres from Thomas Street, between Hay Street and Kings Park Road, 56 Ord Street is 250 metres from the free Red CAT shuttle bus which connects several West Perth precincts.

Developed in 2007, the five-storey office contains 3700 square metres of A-grade area. Colliers International has been asking $350 per sqm, pa, for recently vacated space.
