Docklands Building Wins 5-Star green Star Rating from Green Building Council of Australia

GBCA executive director and early crusader of the green movement to office buildings, David Craven, said the developers of 370 Docklands Drive were the first to receive the accreditation in the first round of assessment.

The $50 million, 7150 square metre office building is being developed by Austcorp and the Riverside Group, and is due for completion in April next year.

“We have recognised that sustainability is a competitive advantage in the property market,” said Austcorp senior development manager Andrew Herbert. “Buildings with a 5 star rating represent higher value to investors because they command higher rentals and cost less to maintain in the long run.”
