Display goods group to consolidate in Melbourne’s south east

SJ Display Group will consolidate from two locations to an office/warehouse being developed speculatively by Frasers Property Industrial, in Melbourne’s south east.
The designer, manufacturer and distributor of retail display goods has signed up for 31 Goodall Close within the Rubix Connect estate, at Dandenong South.
With 5465 sqm – 305 sqm being offices – it forms part of a c8,590 sqm complex with 81 car parks, on 1.37 hectares.
The move is said will streamline its logistics and distribution operations.
Completion is expected this year.
The balance of the building is still for lease.
Dandenong South is about 31 kilometres south east of Melbourne’s CBD.
SJ on the move
SJ Display Group will move from Knoxfield – about 20 km north of Dandenong South.
“The corporate appeal and substantial cubic capacity…were key factors in attracting the occupier, CBRE’s Sasan Misaghian, who brokered the deal with Alex Grima, said.
“With an undersupply of comparable stock in this area, good properties are being secured quickly,” according to the executive.
“The occupier’s decision to consolidate their sites here is a testament the property’s strategic location and superior specifications,” Mr Grima added.
Also today, we are reporting FPI secured a 5299 sqm lease agreement at Tullamarine, north west of town.
