Department of Education and Early Childhood Development to Sell Port Melbourne Site

The Department is expected to reap about $4 million for the 1.5 hectare Prohasky Street site it has used for more than 20 years to store school portables.

The once obscure Port Melbourne street is now an important thoroughfare, connecting Port Melbourne industry to the West Gate Freeway, and the western suburbs.

Beller Commercial directors Fred Nucara and Andrew Fawell expect the Prohasky Street site to arouse interest from owner occupiers, or developers who may wish to build an industrial park, or office warehouse project.
