Dannii Minogue

Postscript: this home sold just after auction for $2.56 million

Entertainer Dannii Minogue is selling her contemporary Hawthorn East home.

The singer and actress turned TV show judge and host can expect more than $2.6 million for 466 Tooronga Road, which goes to auction on June 22.

Ms Minogue paid $2.05 million for the double-storey dwelling in March 2010, four months prior to the birth of her son, Ethan.

In 2012, she split from her partner of four years, English ex-professional rugby player, Kris Smith.

Since 2014, the 47-year old has been in a relationship with music producer Adrian Newman.

Ms Minogue was contacted on Tuesday regarding 466 Tooronga Road, Hawthorn East, and her subsequent home.

Hawthorn East is not far from the Monomeath Avenue, Canterbury mansion, Hallwood Halton, owned by her parents, Ron and Carol.

The Hawthorn East home will be auctioned on June 22.

The family also owns a large office investment at 110 Church Street, Hawthorn, and shops and apartments within the Maling Road, Canterbury shopping strip.

Older sister Kylie owns a house in an unusual Melbourne row: Cambridge Street, Armadale, contains 32 almost identical terraces and is heritage protected (Kylie’s investment property, at #25, contains two bedrooms and was last publicly rented in 2010 for $550 per week).

Nine years ago, Kylie paid A$25 million for an apartment in London’s prestigious One Hyde Park.

In 2015 the middle Minogue sibling, Brendan, acquired some self-storage units in the Melbourne CBD’s Skylofts 601 complex.

Dannii Minogue has renovated the living and dining area since buying 466 Tooronga Road in 2010.

Jellis Craig’s Campbell Ward is marketing 466 Tooronga Road, Hawthorn East.

On a 780 square metre holding, the home is configured with four bedrooms, a study, upstairs retreat, and formal and informal living and dining areas. Outside it includes a spa, pool and terrace with a louve-roof.

Ms Minogue has undertaken some renovations over the past seven years – including up-classing the ground floor living and dining areas (refer ‘before and after’ images, above and below).
