Craft bottle shop, bar chooses Fitzroy for maiden Melbourne store

Kindness House, next door to the ex-Fitzroy Post Office, sold to a consortium of Chemist Warehouse executives in 2020.

Odd Culture – a boutique bottle shop and bar with four interstate locations – has chosen arguably Fitzroy’s most prominent site, for its maiden local store.

The business has signed a seven year lease for the 200 square metre ground floor space within the ex-Fitzroy Post Office at 296 Brunswick Street, at the south east corner of Johnston.

The deal includes a car park.

The area was recently repainted and re-carpeted.

Starting rent is $700 per sqm, per annum net (story continues below).

GormanKelly’s Gerry Gleeson was the agent.

Odd Culture’s four existing outlets are in Sydney.
