Costco to Open in Docklands by Mid 2009
The US-based retailer has leased 14,000 sq m at ING’s Waterfront City precinct, below the giant Southern Star Observation Wheel that marks Melbourne’s skyline.
Costco is a wholesale warehouse membership club stocking everything from groceries to toys, appliances and apparel. Costco also operates in South Korea, Taiwan and Japan.
It was reported Costco chose Melbourne over Sydney and Brisbane for its 538th store.
