CircusWA, Fremantle Press buy substation for offices

The ex-SEC substation will be redesigned as two office tenancies.

CircusWA with Fremantle Press has acquired a former SEC substation to repurpose as headquarters.

The Fremantle property, 10 Parry Street, is costing the arts organisations $2.7 million.

Local developer Adiran Fini and his wife, Michala, will provide a low-interest loan; the project is expected to activate a heritage precinct including woolstores they own.

The state plans to tip in $500,000.

The property was offered for sale after a failed leasing campaign.

CircusWA is presently headquartered in the street at #90.

Fremantle Press meanwhile will move from 25 Quarry St in the suburb.
