Chrisco consolidates from Lytton, Keysborough

Decor will consolidate from two Melbourne locations to a Dandenong South facility (artist’s impression).

Chrisco will consolidate from warehouses at Lytton, in Brisbane’s north and Melbourne’s Keysborough.

The Christmas hamper group will stay in the Queensland capital, pre-committing to a 21,189 square metre national packing and distribution centre at LOGOS’ Berrinba Logistics Hub, 28 kilometres south of the Central Business District.

The facility will contain about 647 sqm corporate offices and 234 sqm of dock offices.

About 47.5 per cent of the area (10,082 sqm) will be an ambient warehouse with the balance temperature controlled.

CBRE’s Peter Turnbull was the agent.

LOGOS acquired the land making way for Berrinba Logistics Hub in 2017 (story continues below).

Following the Chrisco pre-commitment, 70pc of it has been leased, LOGOS head of Australia and New Zealand, Darren Searle, said.

The developer will now build out the estate, with a speculative 14,674 sqm complex.

The deal comes a fortnight since Decor consolidated from two Melbourne locations to a 15,489 sqm office/warehouse at Fraser Property Industrial’s Rubix estate, in that city’s Dandenong South.

FPI also holds a Berrinba industrial estate, where it last month secured National Tyre and Wheel for 21,017 sqm and, in 2020, CEVA Logistics, for expansion space.
