Chain Reaction Bike Riders Come Home

The commercial property industry’s biggest fundraiser – the Chain Reaction bike ride – was raced last week, raising more than $572,000 for the Starlight Foundation and Monash Intensive Care Unit. The 2008 total to date smashes the $475,000 raised for the charity last year.

Racing were some of the development industry most senior directors including ISPT head honcho Daryl Browning and Becton chief Hamish Macdonald.

Knight Frank managing director Paul Burns also raced, as did rival – Jones Lang LaSalle managing director Andrew Wood – who might have some explaining to do after being photographed wearing Colliers International riding gear.

The riders convened at Carlton for lunch, ahead of a function at Melbourne Town Hall with Lord Mayor John So at 4pm.
