Time & Place quietly buys inner-city Melbourne site

The South Melbourne building would contain 300 dwellings.

Time & Place has bought two modern, low rise offices from separate owners, with plans to replace the amalgamated site with 300 apartments.

The 1928 square metre block, 60-74 Park Street, South Melbourne, cost $19.97 million in deals settling February.

The largest site, spanning 1415 sqm (70-74 Park St), set it back $13.07m from a buyer which held 16 years.

It is also exposed to Little Bank St to two sides.

The other office, 60-66 Park St, also fronting Little Bank St to the north, was held 22 years (continues below).

The proposed 22 level tower.

Time & Place, led by Tim Price and Chris O’Keefe, recently applied to build a 22 level tower also with 100 sqm of retail and 100 sqm of  co-work space.

Elsewhere in the suburb the developer is completing the 62 level Queensbridge, with 353 own your own apartments and a hotel.
