Carpe doubles down in South Melbourne

The South Melbourne properties cover 2432 square metres.

Tim Campbell and Stuart Kacir’s Carpe Group – which turns 10 this year – has scooped up neighbouring South Melbourne offices with plans for an apartment complex.

The 2432 square metre amalgamation, 214-220 and 222-226 Park Street, set it back about $25 million.

Both improvements rise two levels.

One is fit out as a showroom, occupied by Caroma.

This block also offers laneway access to Palmer St (continues below).

The permitted proposal at 219-221 Park Street, South Melbourne.

Its west boundary abuts a council car park behind shops on Clarendon St.

Colliers’ Jozef Dickinson, Tim Storey, Philip Heberling and Aaron Choong were the agents; the assets were held over two decades by the Bailey family.

Carpe was last July approved to develop a five storey apartment complex on a 1013 sqm plot at 219-221 Park St, South Melbourne, a site until recently controlled by Salta.
