Carnegie House Lily to Be Sold

The house, at 34 Munster Avenue, Carnegie, was named after the character of Lily Munster, the deathly glamorous 137-yearold mother in the popular 1960s TV series The Munsters. Actress Yvonne De Carlo who made the role famous died in January.

Gutted and rebuilt last year, the house has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a two-car garage. The living areas open to a big paved deck with mains gas barbecue. Lily has central cooling and heating.

Bush says it will be hard to leave the house that agents say is in one of Carnegie’s best streets.

Jeremy Rosens and Eric Cohen of Gary Peer and Associates are selling the house and expect more than $860,000 when it goes to auction at 1.30pm on Saturday, May 19.
