Canberra Airport Redevelopment Underway
The new terminal will be 30,000 square metres, and add new check in counters, a larger passenger area, shops and a club lounge.
Designed by Canberra based Guida Moseley Brown Architects, the development will also include a four level car park.
In 2006, the Canberra airport runway was extended to accommodate 747 jets, kicking off the $420 million redevelopment. The Southern Concourse Terminal was opened last November.
