Bridgewater Aged Care, Roxburgh Park, to be Sold

Up for grabs is the main nursing home building, on a 1.44 hectare block of land, and an adjoining 6,000 square metre block with development potential.

CB Richard Ellis selling agent Shane Nicholson believes the Department of Health and Ageing is receptive to re-opening Bridgewater, which services the fast growing demographic in the Hume corridor. He said the expected sale price will be far less than the “replacement value” of building a modern aged care facility like Bridgewater.

Aged care facilities cost an average $1,900 to $2,500 per square metre to build new, Mr Nicholson said.
