Bettina Liano lists Melbourne pad

Bettina Liano is selling in South Yarra after two and a half years.

The designer and entrepreneur’s 48 Kensington Road home has a $4 million-plus guide.

Over three levels it contains five bedrooms, two studies and a cellar.

A games zone – used by previous owners as a squash court – has been designed with a billiards table and lounge.

The property also includes a pool.

Site next Bona Vista, Saint Cloud

Earlier this year the historic Bona Vista estate across the road at #59 – on 4366 sqm – set a suburb price record exchanging privately for $10.5m (reported elsewhere as $12-$13 million).

Next door, #61, is believed to be South Yarra’s largest private residential land holding, covering 5437 sqm.

The Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal recently approved this site make way for a five level Rothelowman apartment project.

It currently contains a semi-circle house, Saint Cloud, developed in the 1980s and which featured in movie Romper Stomper.
