Banks trade Richmond corner

National Australia Bank has leased a prominent Richmond building occupied five years ago by ANZ.

In the gap, Caydon rented 452-456 Church Street and 240 Swan St as a display suite for its nearby Malt District.

That tenant was paying $113,850 per annum plus GST and outgoings.

The bank’s rent is undisclosed as is the term (story continues below).

The area spreads 201 square metres.

Morleys Josh McMullin was the leasing agent; he is also offering it for sale.

The property is on the same block as East Richmond station, about two kilometres east of Melbourne.

Caydon recently occupied the Richmond building as a Malt District display suite.
