Administrators for GMC Try to Lease Company’s Tullamarine Facility

The South Centre Road property includes 1,000 square metres of office space, and a 13,000 square metre warehouse building with 14 roller doors, and 6 recessed loading docks for trucks. The property also has 48 car park bays.
 
CBRE and Lemon Baxter are looking for a tenant to take over the building for at least five years, and pay a starting rent of almost $1.1 million a year.
 
“Warehousing, distribution and office type properties of this magnitude with easy access to the Calder Highway, Tullamarine Freeway and Western Ring Road don’t come along very often,” said Lemon Baxter leasing agent Richard Hutton.
 
CBRE’s Shane Robb said the industrial property is the only prime warehouse available in Tullamarine.
 
Other industrial tenants in the area include Star Track Express, DHL, Caterpillar and Toll.
