Rod Menzies seeks $12m for outgoing home

Rod Menzies’ outgoing 52 Hampden Road, Armadale.

Art dealer Rod Menzies is selling Armadale’s landmark Namarong.

The 4000 square metres property, 52 Hampden Road, was also once owned by Toll Holdings boss, Paul Little.

Both have upgraded to pricier mansions nearby.

For Mr Menzies, this is the former government house at 336 Glenferrie Rd, Malvern, which cost $18m last year.

Mr Little paid $16m for Toorak’s Coonac in 2002.

52 Hampden Road, Armadale

With Stonington’s renovation complete, 52 Hampden Rd is for sale.

Sources speculate it should trade for more than $12m.

The street is considered one of Armadale’s best and this property sits on one of its biggest holdings.

The Italianate mansion includes an indoor pool.

It is surrounded by established gardens and tennis court.

Marshall White’s Sean Cussell, who sold Stonington to Mr Menzies, will list 52 Hampden Road shortly.
