Billionaires lease entire new Melbourne office
INT.RE – the name since last year for Icon Developments – with Kajima Group and Zagame Property has secured a tenant for a nine level building under construction in Melbourne’s inner east Cremorne.
Easygo Gaming, established by billionaires Ed Craven and Bijan Tehrani, is behind the significant lease deal, for 12,891 square metres of A-grade offices, 303 sqm ground floor retail space and 62 car parks, at 120 Cremorne Street, Cremorne.
The tech company which builds and power online betting platforms, like Mr Craven’s stake.com, will quit the Royal Bank Chambers at 287 Collins St in the city.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Jake Patterson and Vincent Tran with Colliers’ Ash Dean and Matt Cosgrave were the agents.
Cremorne Place
Construction of the campus style Cremorne St office, also known as Cremorne Place, started last year.
Completion is scheduled mid next year with Easygo to move in about 12 months from now.
Assuming a workspace ratio of 10-15 sqm per person, the office could accommodate 850-1300 staff.
Each level will include a landscaped terrace.
“Seeking more than a traditional office, Easygo saw the opportunity for Cremorne Place to become their purpose-built campus environment, tailored to the way a modern tech company collaborates and innovates,” a company spokesperson posted in a statement about the deal.
“With unmatched, never-to-be-built-out views across Melbourne’s skyline and sports precinct, this workplace sets a new benchmark for Cremorne,” they added.
