Werdiger family divest Melbourne showroom

The Nunawading showroom contains 7175 square metres

The Werdiger family has sold a prominent showroom in Melbourne’s east Nunawading held for 24 years.

Backed by Super A-Mart, the 7175 sqm building, on 1.733 hectares at 410-422 Whitehorse Road – part of a bulky goods complex also with a Harvey Norman – traded for $31.25 million,

The vendor, via a company SHL Nominees (1965), co-controlled with the Lederman family, outlaid $10.61m.

Stonebridge’s Justin Dowers and Kevin Tong acted for Charter Keck Cramer as transaction adviser (story continues below).

The deal comes a year since the Werdiger family’s Juilliard Group sold adjoining CBD buildings – 440 Collins St and 459 Little Collins, to Lendlease, which has recently completed a refurbishment on some of the empty spaces.

More to come.
