Tytec Logistics snaps up Brisbane industrial site three days after it was offered for lease

Tytec Logistics Pty Ltd has leased a major warehouse in the outer western Brisbane suburb of Swanbank for 10 years.

The tyre logistics and storage provider will pay a starting annual rent of $500,000, sources say, to occupy 129 Patrick Street (pictured, top).

The 5.2 hectare former sandblasting facility includes about 6000 square metres of building improvements.

According to Savills brokers Ben Donnelly and Callum Stenson, who negotiated the deal, Tytec Logistics has been in the market for “a number of years”.

“When the Patrick Street property became available, the tenant jumped at the opportunity and had the lease signed within three days,” Mr Donnelly said.

“Swanbank is an ideal location for businesses looking to place themselves in this catchment area to take advantage of solid residential construction and development.

“As land dries up in the traditional industrial areas of Brisbane, occupiers are finding good value west…where there is a substantial amount of residential construction occurring, particularly throughout the Ripley Valley.”
