Tubbo Station for sale
Tubbo Station, in the New South Wales Riverina region, is for sale with a $40 million-plus guide.
The 14,876 hectare property is being offered by the family of late ship builder and farmer Giles W Pritchard-Gordon.
It was previously reported to have sold in 2009 to local grazers Les and Gai Douglas; then spreading 28,170ha, that purchase price was also about $40m.
Before then, the Darlington Point property, 64 kilometres west of Narrandera, was controlled by Rodney Price’s Four Arrows Group.
Mr Pritchard-Gordon died in 2011, aged 64 (story continues below).
LAWD’s Danny Thomas is representing the family, according to The Weekly Times.
Presently subject to a 35 year lease – returning annual income of $550,000 – the farm can run 40,000 dry sheep equivalents.
It also has 539ha solar farm.
More to come.
