The Pakenham hardstand site (outlined, orange).

McColl’s Transport has leased just over an acre of hardstand on the same street as one of its facilities, to park trucks.

Lot 2, 14 Drovers Place, Pakenham, spreading 4149 square metres, is largely surrounded by scrap metal yards.

Like the logistics group’s nearby base, the property is permitted to trade 24 hours every day.

Knight Frank was the marketing agency.

Established in 1952, McColl’s is the country’s largest independent chemical, dairy and foods carrier.

McColl’s Transport sold a South Geelong property with a leaseback in 2020.

It is co-headquartered in South Geelong – a property which five years was offered with a leaseback.

It also has a Melbourne corporate base, in Altona
