Townhouses on Melbourne’s Most Expensive Western Suburb Street Sell
The biggest townhouse at 89 The Strand in Newport, near the Williamstown border, sold for $1.15 million. Two similar townhouses sold for $1.12 million and $1.05 million respectively.
CB Richard Ellis selling agent Paul O’Connell said two of the townhouses were purchased by owner occupiers, while a third will be used as an investment. The nine-year old properties have postcard views over Port Phillip Bay to the CBD, about seven kilometres away.
Outside of The Strand in Williamstown, Riverview and Leslie roads in Essendon, and Ardmillan Road in Moonee Ponds, are often acknowledged as the most expensive streets west of the CBD in regard to land value.
