Total Tools pre-commits to more prominent Bundaberg showroom
Total Tools has pre-committed to a more prominent Bundaberg showroom two holdings from its current store.
Majority controlled since 2020 by Metcash – in a deal which would see the balance of the $57m price payable this year – the hardware retailer has signed up for 63 Johanna Boulevard, for an initial 10 years.
The c5360 square metre parcel on the roundabout of Commercial Rd will contain a c2000 sqm building (artist’s impression, top) and open-air car park.
Practical completion is expected mid next-year.
Total Tools upgrades, ups presence
Kensington is about seven kilometres south west of Bundaberg’s CBD (story continues below).
Johanna Blvd accommodates several rival hardware businesses including Bunnings, Sydney Tools and Trade Tools.
“Total Tool was attracted to this prime greenfield site as it offers a strategic location with prominent frontage on Johanna Blvd and is situated in the main large format retail precinct,” Colliers’ Will Goldsworthy, who brokered the deal with Sam Quinter, said.
“The area is set to benefit from significant future infrastructure upgrades, enhancing its appeal,” he added.
