Leighton and ICP Lodge Plans to Build $95 Million, Part of Ipswich City Heart

LEIGHTON Properties with Ipswich City Properties have lodged plans to build an office building within the $1 billion Ipswich City Heart development (proposal image, right).

It is proposing a nine-level tower with about 18,000 square metres of A-grade space. According to the AFR the state government is finalising a 15,000 square metre lease within the building, expected to house 1200 state public servants.

Ipswich lord mayor Paul Pisale said the proposal proves Ipswich is becoming  a CBD in its own right.

Control of Noosa Resort Seized by Receivers

RECEIVERS McGrath Nicol has been appointed to seize control of a major, high profile resort developed by two major, high profile property institutions.

Suncorp Bank is seeking that a $43 million line of credit be repaid by Viridian Noosa Pty Ltd.

Viridian controls a $300 million resort by the same name, and operated by Outrigger. Leighton Properties and Macquarie Real Estate developed the five star resort which was completed last year.

Leighton to Sell South Tower, Part of HQ Complex, Fortitude Valley, For $95 Million

LEIGHTON Properties will sell a Brisbane office building, for about $95 million. The South Tower, a 43,000 square metre office in Fortitude Valley’s Wickham Street, is part of Leighton’s “HQ” twin office complex.
