Prominent Pubs, and a Western Suburbs Development Site, Offered in $80 Million Portfolio

SOME of Melbourne’s most popular hospitality venues – and a major western suburb development site – form part of an $80 million portfolio of properties set to hit the market next month.

A consortium of Melbourne-based private investors, including Sebastian Catalfamo and Gilbert Cabral, will share in the spoils of the eight properties which are being offered separately.

In Melbourne, hospitality venues include The Point on Albert Park Lake – a 940-seat venue which is expected to sell for about $3 million.

Con Andronis to Sell Albert Park Home

CON Andronis, the director of leading supplier Clamms Seafood and event management company the Atlantic Group – and the owner of the popular Atlantic Seafood restaurant at Crown Casino, is selling a renovated period home by the bay.

The prestige property catch, in Albert Park’s Kerferd Road is spread over two levels and includes three bedrooms, a study, garage, and courtyard garden with a BBQ and spa.

It’s expected to sell for about $2 million. Kay & Burton Albert Park’s Alex Schiavo and Tom Staughton will auction the home at 1pm on Saturday April 9.

Albert Gasworks Site to be Developed at Last

ALBERT Park’s former Gasworks site will be developed at last.
 
Sydney-based developer Mirvac has announced plans for Laureate Albert Park, a $90 million townhouse development that will span the entire 8,144 square metre block bound by Pickles, Graham, Danks and Foote streets.
 
Mirvac paid $18.35 million for the Albert Park development site in June 2007, after a failed attempt by the previous owner Primelife to develop a luxury retirement village.
