Symbion Health Relocates to St Kilda Road

Symbion has signed a 2,300 square metre lease at 484 St Kilda Road, a modern office building, co-owned by Perth-based private investor Perron Investments.

Symbion will occupy space vacated by business consulting group Infosys.

The 484 St Kilda Road lease deal was negotiated by Thorburn Commercial director Kenny Thorburn, CB Richard Ellis and Lemon Baxter.

Mr Thorburn would not disclose the rent Symbion is paying for its new headquarters, however office space is being marketed online at about $300 per square metre, per annum.

“Symbion remaining in the St Kilda Road precinct is a vindication of the underlying strength of the St Kilda Road market, even in these tough times,” Mr Thorburn said.

Major tenant National Foods recently vacated a chunk of office space at 5 Queens Road when it moved to a new building in Docklands.
