Rowville office-warehouse sells off-market for $13 million
An investment in Melbourne’s south-east suburb of Rowville has sold for $13 million to a local owner-occupier.
It was the first time the site at 800 Wellington Road has been offered for sale in 20 years.
The off-market deal was negotiated by Savills Kosta Filinis and Lynton Williams.
“The sale demonstrates the current strength and depth for established, large-scale facilities in this tightly held, fully developed industrial precinct,” Mr Filinis said.
The broker added that the site’s proximity to Eastlink generated interest from both owner-occupiers and investors.
“The precinct is highly regarded and with very limited supply industrial values are on a strong upward trajectory”.
On a 2.1 hectare block, a modern 8140 square metre building includes 774 sqm of office space. It was occupied by the AFL Store Online but is now available for lease.
Earlier this week we reported that the home of AFL Footy Cards, in inner-city Windsor, had also found a buyer.
The vendor of 800 Wellington Road, 27 kilometres from the CBD, was represented by Charter Keck Cramer.
