Rod Menzies sells Namarong for $9m
Armadale’s Namarong, in tree-lined Hampden Road, has sold for over $9 million.
The home was listed in April after vendor, Menzies Arts chairman Rod Menzies, purchased Stonington in Malvern for $18m.
Marshall White’s Sean Cussell brokered both deals.
Mr Menzies couldn’t list in Armadale until a Stonington renovation was complete (story continues below).
In 2006, Michael Wong paid $13.75m for a Flete St, Armadale, home, once occupied by the Yooralla Society of Victoria.
That deal remains the suburb’s priciest.
