Redevelopment of Salt Nightclub Site to Start in August

The new development, lilli, will include 2500 square metres of offices, and 2000 square metres of ground-floor shops.

Fridcorp managing director Paul Fridman says apartments at lilli range in size from 45 to 70 square metres, and in price from $350,000 to $650,000. He said the Elenberg Fraser-designed building (pictured) will include Hecker Phelan & Guthrie-designed interiors.

The ground floor retail areas of lilli also form part of a new pedestrian thoroughfare, connecting the South Yarra train station to Chapel Street, bypassing Toorak Road.

Construction of lilli, at 12-14 Claremont Street, is expected to start in August, and take 20 months.
