Ramsay Health Care May Buy Prahran Medical Centre
The medical centre comprises two separate federation mansions at 31 and 33 The Avenue and sits on a 2500 square metre block of land with two street frontages.
The medical centre is being offloaded by former plastic surgeon Dr Leo Rozner, who used the buildings as consulting rooms for his practice up until 2004.
Since then, it has been fully occupied by the Melbourne Orthopedic Group, a branch of the Australian Stock Exchange listed Ramsay Health Care, which also owns The Avenue private Hospital across the road. A Queensland-based spokeswoman for RHC says it is aware the property is on the market, but declined to confirm or deny whether it would make a bid. Castran Gilbert director Lachlan Castran is handling the sale.
