Property Council of Australia Releases New Guide to Corporate Responsibility
It provides a simple, voluntary, entry level template for property companies that can be easily customised to the needs of individual corporations.
The new Guide standardises the metrics used by the industry to report corporate responsibility.
It draws on the thinking contained in many global standards, including the Global Reporting Initiative and the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes, to deliver a simple, straight-forward approach to corporate responsibility.
A Guide to Corporate Responsibility Reporting in the Property Sector is out for public consultation for 12 months.
The Property Council encourages all property companies interested in reporting their performance to test the template and provide feedback on any necessary revisions.
