Plans to Redevelop Preston Bowls Club Into 104-Unit Apartment Complex Lodged With Council
The property is at the busy intersection where St Georges Road merges into Spring Street, diagonally opposite the Preston train station and Preston Market.
A council spokeswoman said the application is at the early stage of the planning process.
The Club was listed for sale in April after membership dwindled to 60. It is reported to have sold for more than $3 million.
