Multiplex Group in Australia and New Zealand Changes Name to Brookfield Multiplex
Sydney, Australia, 4 March 2008: Following Brookfield Asset Management Inc. obtaining control of the Multiplex Group in late 2007, Multiplex Limited today announced it is changing its name to Brookfield Multiplex Limited. The new name will take effect immediately and will encompass its Australian and New Zealand activities.
The new identity will also extend to the majority of the organisation’s divisional brands and other entities, as follows:
• Multiplex Constructions is now Brookfield Multiplex Constructions
• Multiplex Developments is now Brookfield Multiplex Developments
• Multiplex Facilities Management is now Brookfield Multiplex Services
• Multiplex Capital is now Brookfield Multiplex Capital
• Multiplex Infrastructure is now Brookfield Multiplex Infrastructure
• Multiplex Property Trust is now Brookfield Multiplex Property Trust
• Multiplex Living (premium residential brand) to remain the same
