McGills to quit Elizabeth St after 45 years
After more than 45 years, McGills will leave its long-time home at 187 – 193 Elizabeth Street.
The newsagency told the Herald Sun the new owner, South Australia’s Urban Construct, increased the rent.
The business had been reported as paying below-market rates given a friendship between the McGill family and last landlord.
Knight Frank and Teska Carson marketed the Elizabeth St property.
