Max Beck’s Kinane sells for Brighton record

Brighton’s waterfront Kinane has broken the record as the suburb’s most expensive residence.

The six bedroom property is understood to have sold for $11.2 million to business identity Russell Small and partner Belinda Ding.

According to selling agent, the price is also one the highest prices achieved for a home in metropolitan Melbourne for years (the record, for Toorak’s Cooonac, stands at $14.5m)

Over four levels, Kinane includes four living rooms, a library, billiards room, 25 metre indoor lap pool, gym, tennis court and outdoor spa.

It is also designed with a third-floor penthouse apartment which, like much of the rest of the home, offers views across Port Phillip Bay to the city.
