Mark Philippoussis sells Williamstown townhouse

Tennis player turned reality TV show judge Mark Philippoussis has quietly sold his waterfront Williamstown townhouse.

The Scud, as the media named him, listed the Waters Edge home in May.

The  property includes a five bedroom townhouse overlooking Port Phillip, and a self contained loft over a double garage.

It passed in at auction in July for $775,000.

The eventual sale price is understood to be between $900,000 and $1 million.

Hocking Stuart selling agents Wayne Elly and Nathan Smith confirmed the sale to The Sunday Age’s Secret Agent.

Mr Philippoussis, who grew up in the Williamstown area, is reported to have paid about $350,000 for it in 1997.

The townhouse was a display within the then-new Rifle Range project, near the Jawbone Marine Sanctuary.

The final piece of that housing estate went on sale earlier this year.
