Mapletree fills chunk of ex-Coles distribution centre

Also today we are reporting IHL signed a 41,000 square metre Sydney lease.

Mapletree has filled the bulk of the ex-Coles Forest Lake Distribution Centre, which it bought for $102 million in 2018 with five years left to run on a lease.

Logistics giant Wallenius Wilhelmsen has committed to 30,086 square metres at 44 Stradbroke Street, Heathwood – one metropolitan Brisbane’s largest industrial lease deals this year.

There is some 25,000 sqm left to fill.

The complex contains 55,739 sqm including 48,852 sqm of Prime-grade warehousing.

The balance is offices and workshops.

The site spreads 15.1 hectares with 368 car parks and extensive hardstand.

The ex-distribution centre at Heathwood contains 55,773 square metres.

Singapore listed Mapletree bought the asset on a six per cent yield.

CBRE’s Myles Clentsmith ad Matthew Frazer-Ryan with CG Property Group’s Mark Gilbride and Michal Callow are the leasing agents.

Also today we are reporting Frasers Property Industrial secured IHL to a 41,000 sqm Eastern Creek, Sydney, warehouse.
