Major Sunshine Coast warehouse trades off-market

A major Sunshine Coast manufacturing, research and logistics base, purpose built three years ago to occupy by Quik Corp, the country’s largest emergency service vehicle manufacturer, is trading off-market.
The 1.61 hectare Coolum Beach asset, 15 Research Drive, found favour with Rethink Investing for $22.4 million – a 6.25 per cent net passing yield.
Part of the Sunshine Coast Ecological Park, being developed by Sunshine Coast Council, it contains a 9443 sqm office/office with a 1464 sqm awning, permitted to operate 24 hours.
The block also contains 99 car parks with EV charging stations.
Quik Corp is on a lease expiring in 2029.
Coolum Beach is about 10 kilometres north of the Sunshine Coast Airport at Maroochydore.
